DeftEdge helps ensure organizations meet ethical standards and objectives on a range of issues, such as economically empowering women and refugees through access to finance and markets and mitigating the impact of climate change on vulnerable communities. (WFP, FAO, Pact, ActionAid, UNHCR livelihoods partners)

DeftEdge has been engaged by the International Labour Organization (ILO) to conduct external quality appraisals of independent project and high-level evaluations. In addition to conducting detailed assessments of approximately 60 evaluation reports each year, the assignment includes producing the Annual Quality Appraisal Summaries and UN-SWAP Analysis, with a focus on cross-cutting themes such as gender equality, disability inclusion, social dialogue and tripartism, environmental sustainability and just transition. The results are used to inform ILO’s Annual Evaluation Report to the Governing Body, build evaluation practice, and contribute to organizational learning.
