Punit Arora, PhD

Co-founder and CEO

Dr. Punit Arora is a strategic management expert with over 20 years of experience in strategic positions with government, business, academia and international organizations. He has advised numerous organizations on strategic planning and management and led dozens of strategic evaluations for international organizations such as UNCTAD, UNIDO, UNODC, WHO, UNDG, UNRISD, ILO, UNECE, WFP and the European Union in over 70 countries.

These evaluations have helped commissioning organizations identify critical strategic gaps (e.g., absence of attention to trade-based money laundering), redesigning organizational architecture (e.g., Integrated Internal Security Governance in the Western Balkans), re-envisioning organizational set up (e.g., the role of UNIDO’s field network in light of UN’s SDG agenda), fine-tuning organizational arrangements to enhance performance (e.g., Portfolio rebalancing for UNCTAD’s Africa and Least Developed Countries Division) and modernizing organizational architectures in view of significant changes in their task and institutional environments (e.g., WHP transformation in view of pandemics and other global challenges).

He has also authored concept and guidance notes on issues such as use of big data in evaluations, national evaluation capacity development, and re-envisioning evaluation amidst pandemics and other crises.
